To be sure that download files a virus free just use an Online Virus scanner like

Switch over to SCAN URL and copy and paste the downlaod url

If old MS .NET Framework 1.1 has been installed and there is no opportunity to download MS .NET Framework 2.0 you may continue to use:

( without Installer version, zipped 2.2 MB)
(Installation of a new version over an existing version is possible, alternatively you may simply delete old RufzXP directory)

Software Requirements
Operating systems supported:
Win 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista
Please be sure to have installed following Microsoft software packages too:
MS .NET Framework redistributable package version 2.0 or higher
In case of Windows Vista, version 3.5 is installed by default, so no action is required.
For other Windows version simply try to install RufzXP. If the right framework has'nt been installed yet, RufzXP installer will claim for it.
If neccessary you may download

To doublecheck if one of these packages has been installed on your computer you have following options:
- choose [Control Panel] from the [Start menu] on your desktop, click on [Software] and [Add or Remove Programs] and scroll through the list of applications. There you can see Microsoft .NET framework listed or not.
- Check directory C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework. There you can see subdirectories with the name of FW versions. If the framework directory does not exist, no framework has been installed.
MS DirectX 9.0c or higher
To determine which version of DirectX has been installed on your computer, type dxdiag at DOS-prompt. (Click on START button and click on RUN)
Look for System Information and DirectX Version.
In case of "file not found" no DirectX has been installed.
