Software Requirements
Operating systems supported:
Win 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP (it may work with Vista)
Please be sure to have installed first:
MS .NET Framework 2.0 redistributable package
MS .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable package (no support for latest RufzXp versions >=1.1.2)
To determine if one of these packages has been installed on your computer you have following options:
1) easiest way: try to install RufzXP, if the right framework is not installed, RufzXP installer will claim
2) choose [Control Panel] from the [Start menu] on your desktop, click on [Software] and [Add or Remove Programs] and scroll through the list of applications. There you can see Microsoft .NET framework listed or not.
3) Check directory C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework. There you see subdirectories with the name of FW versions. If this directory does not exist, no framework has been installed.
MS DirectX 9.0c (or higher)
To determine which version of DirectX has been installed on your computer, type dxdiag at DOS-prompt. (Click on START button and click on RUN)
Look for System Information and DirectX Version.
In case of "file not found" no DirectX has been installed.
